So I recently found myself with a little more extra time than usual on my hands so I started compiling a list of things I would like to do.

Blog Blog

I recently revamped my two primary blogs, www.baeza.name and www.baezaconsulting.com. I decided to use blogger.com as my platform. It's easy to use, and I didn't have to set anything up.

AWS From Scratch

For the past week or so, I've been working on a series of blog posts walking through how to setup and use AWS from a beginners perspective called AWS From Scratch. I'm kinda making it up as I go. Ideally I would like to be able to touch on most every service available from AWS. For now I will just try to hit on the most critical components and see where that takes me.

My Personal Blog

Here we are. I re-created www.baeza.name and this is it. I'll try to post here to keep track of what I'm doing, what I plan on doing and what I've done so far.

3D Printing

Cookie cutters! I have to get back to making some more cookie cutters. I also have some ideas for a pet gate to keep smokey from trying to sneak upstairs.

Laser Work

I have a small sign I still need to make. I may also start work on some bookends, if I do, I'll be sure to blog about them here.

Home Improvement

Decorations

My walls are bare, I have boxes and boxes of pictures that need frames and need to be hung. Ive started hanging pictures in my office, and would like to fill up the walls with photos I love.

Home Automation

The wiring in this house is all jacked up. I need to fix some of the wiring to get some of these switches working, then I can install my smart dimmer switches.

I also need to hook up my light sync with my TV, and re-attach Zoë's multi color light strip.

I would love to build some furniture for behind the couch so I can install some extra colored lights and have a place for us to plugin laptops and phones, but this might be something that might be better outsourced.

Electronics

I would really love to make some time to work on some Raspberry Pi and or Arduino projects. If I do manage to fit them in I'll post about those too!

Too Many Things

These are just some of the things I would like to do with my extra time. I also want to read some books I've been putting off, learn Chinese, etc. etc.

I'm hoping this blog will help me organize my thoughts and measure my progress.
